The Men of Sigma Nu at Oklahoma State University are devoted to making the campus and community a better place for students and citizens. With over 100 brothers involved within student, greek and philanthropic organizations, The Epsilon Epsilon Chapter continues to make a difference wherever they can. When new pledges arrive in Stillwater, they are strongly encouraged to get involved and during their first semester will partake in multiple activites and events. A requirement of the new pledge program is to get involved in three organizations, but many pledges exceed it. Brothers continue their involvement after initiation and many go on to hold executive positions in their respective organizations. In fact, over the 2008-2009 academic year four brothers got the esteemed honor of "Top-20 Freshman", Ryan Ramseyer, Brent Harkrider, Jeffrey Hendrickson, and Jon Thompson. Ryan and Brent then went on to achieve the highest honor of "Top-10 Freshman".
As a house Sigma Nu participates in all three major Greek-wide shows (Freshman Follies, Varsity Revue, and Spring Sing). In fact, in 2009 Sigma Nu took first place in two of them. Regarding philanthropy, Sigma Nu hosts the annual Temple Classic Charity Volleyball Tournament and during the past two years the tournament has raised an estimated $26,000 to benefit the Christopher Reeve's Foundation. Sigma Nu participated as a house in other philanthropies or charitable organizations as well. Some of them include The Big Event, Into the Streets, Relay for Life, Stillwater Humane Society and the first annual Greek Madness Basketball Tournament which was co-hosted by Phi Gamma Delta. Sigma Nu also helps make OSU's Homecoming "the best in the nation", having won first place in Housedeck two out of the last four years and taking second place in Football Frenzies the past two years. Along with Football Frenzies, Sigma Nu's active members are very involved with intramural athletics. In some cases Sigma Nu had up to 6 teams participating in a single sport.
